What may be retained
Disabling the account does not immediately erase its profile or every associated record.
Submitted or published stories, comments, engagement, reporter records, uploaded media, security records, and backup copies may be retained where reasonably needed to operate the service, preserve the public news archive, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, or comply with law. How verification works
- 1Enter the phone number and password used for Samachar Mitra.
- 2The existing authentication service verifies the credentials.
- 3The verified profile is marked as deleted, its sessions are ended, and future sign-in is prevented.
